You can get points in a number of ways the easiest is to.
Post on forums +10 points
Create a new Topic +50
Create a new topic in a Tutorials section +100
Invite friends +100
Harder ways.
Helping the site,
If a moderator thinks you are benefiting the site then you will receive 500 points
If your reputation reaches 100 then you will receive 100
If your reputation reaches 1000 then you will receive 1000 and a free VIP membership
